Interview decisions will be made after a review of your complete application.
Required Materials for Pediatric Residency Application
The following items are required before your application can be reviewed:
- Completed ERAS application form
- The Dean's letter from your school
- Letters of Recommendation (3):
- A letter from a member of your Institution's Department of Pediatrics (Chair, Clerkship Director, or Program Director) is strongly recommended, but not required.
- A personal statement
- Medical School Transcript
- USMLE or COMLEX Score Transcript
- NRMP Number
Special Requirements
If you are currently in a residency training program, a letter is required from your program director.
If you also hold a PhD, please also include a letter from your PhD advisor.
Frequently Asked Questions About Our Residency Program
We are happy to answer general questions about the program via email or telephone. For specific questions regarding the interview, ranking, and matching process, we abide by the Match Communication Code of Conduct.
Additional letters of reference are accepted if sent through ERAS.
We do not have a minimum USMLE score cutoff for you to apply, as we look at each application holistically, but do require that you have submitted passing scores for Step 1 and Step 2 before the Match.
Yes, we accept COMLEX scores in place of USMLE scores.
Unfortunately, we do not sponsor J-1 visas at this time.
Yes. We require a letter of confirmation and/or your diploma of successful completion from your medical school.
Verification of successful completion of training must be provided by the program director from your previous program.
Yes. A drug test and background check are part of the onboarding process.
Yes, we accept international medical graduates who hold a valid and current certification with the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
