Donate to Valley Children's Clothes Closet

Have you cleaned out closets and found some clothing items that don't fit or are not needed anymore? The Valley Children’s Clothes Closet is in urgent need of gently used and unstained clothing in all sizes, for our patients and their families.

It is not uncommon for many of our families to arrive here unexpectedly and spend several days here as their children undergo tests and procedures. Additionally, many of these families are far from home; traveling as far north as Modesto and as far south as Bakersfield to receive care. For these families, funds may be very limited and transportation non-existent.

The items listed below have been determined to be the easiest to use as their loose fit and unisex style can fit a variety of body sizes and can also be slipped over casts.

Gently worn:

• T-shirts in all colors
• Elastic waist shorts
• Sweat bottoms and sweat tops
• Lounge pants
• Scrub bottoms
• New underwear (still in the package)

Please drop off clothing items at the Main Information Desk or in the Volunteer Services office and we will take care of re-laundering, bagging and labeling each item in a ziptop bag for storage in the Clothes Closet. A donation slip is available for tax purposes.
