About Me
Dr. Sara Phelps joined Valley Children’s Specialty Medical Group in August 2012 as a pediatric hospitalist.
Dr. Phelps has presented on various topics in her field, such as synocope, gastroschisis, enuresis, total anomalous pulmonary venous return (TAPVR), and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Dr. Phelps is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a member of Valley Children's Medical Group.
Dr. Phelps earned her medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine, University of California, Los Angeles, in Los Angeles, Calif. She did her pediatric residency at the University of California, Irvine/Children’s Hospital of Orange County, in Irvine, Calif.
Dr. Phelps is fluent in Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys being involved in her church, cooking, and charity races. She enjoys working with underserved populations.
