About Me
Dr. Erin Vaughn joined Valley Children’s Specialty Medical Group in July 2023 as a complex care pediatrician at the Charlie Mitchell Children’s Center on Valley Children’s main hospital campus in Madera.
After earning her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Dr. Vaughn completed her residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Yale University. She is board certified in pediatrics and internal medicine.
Dr. Vaughn is a passionate advocate for her patients and values the role she can play in helping educate and empower patients and their families. In 2022, she developed and worked as lead physician with the Youth Health Transition Program, a program designed to assist young adults and their families transitioning from pediatric to adult care.
In addition to being fluent in English, Dr. Vaughn is fluent in Portuguese and can speak conversational Spanish.
