About Me
Dr. Joe Treister joined the pediatric intensivist group at Valley Children’s Specialty Medical Group in July 2017. He is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric critical care, and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics and Society of Critical Care Medicine. His areas of special interest include sepsis and shock, and he has presented on these topics both locally and nationally.
Dr. Treister received his medical degree from University of California, Irvine School of Medicine in Irvine, California. He did his internship and residency at UC Irvine-Children’s Hospital Orange County. He completed his pediatric critical care fellowship at Rady Children’s Hospital / University of California-San Diego.
When he is not at the hospital, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing the guitar and watching live music.
