About Me
Board certified in pulmonary diseases and pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Sudhakar joined Valley Children’s Specialty Medical Group in July 1991. He is medical director of pediatric pulmonology.
Dr. Sudhakar is an assistant professor at University of California, San Francisco-Fresno. An active researcher, he participates in cystic fibrosis and asthma studies. Dr. Sudhakar is a member of the American Thoracic Society and the Central Valley Respiratory Society.
After graduating from Guntur Medical College in Guntur, India, Dr. Sudhakar completed an internship at the Government General Hospital in Guntur. He completed pediatric residencies at Guntur Medical College and Rutgers Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Dr. Sudhakar completed a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Children’s Hospital National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
