CME Workshops


As a nationally recognized provider of pediatric healthcare and advocacy, Valley Children’s promotes educational opportunities to physicians and other health professionals. We offer various resources for healthcare providers to gain additional knowledge and improve patient care, including:

  • Continuing Medical Education (CME) opportunities: Regular lectures from Valley Children’s pediatric subspecialists and visiting physician speakers to keep you up to date on the latest medical advancements in pediatric medicine.
    • CME Tracker registration system: Create a profile so you can save your information for an easier registration process, check into events you have attended, view presentations, complete evaluations online and print certificates on demand.
  • Pediatric Clinical Symposium Series: In-depth discussions from Valley Children’s pediatric subspecialists on the latest, most relevant medical education for community providers, offered virtually and in-person.
  • Interprofessional Simulation Program: Enhances pediatric patient care quality and safety through collaborative, high-fidelity simulation training for the entire healthcare team.
  • Medical Library: Located on the east end of the main hospital, on the Garden Level, the Nathalie Wolfe Pediatric Sciences Library provides knowledge-based and consumer health information to physicians, staff and patient families. The medical library offers a wide range of benefits, including:
    • Comprehensive collection: A wide range of medical books, journals, core clinical textbooks, and electronic resources focused on pediatrics and childhood diseases. They may be checked out for 28 days and are arranged on the shelf according to the National Library of Medicine classification system. Library staff can also assist with interlibrary loans.
    • Research support: Access to the latest research and evidence-based information to support clinical decision-making.
    • Expert staff: Knowledgeable librarians who can assist with research queries and information retrieval.
    • Collaborative space: A quiet and conducive environment for study and collaboration among healthcare professionals.
